Rowid collects no data at all. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK that reports anything. The files you open are never uploaded, never indexed remotely and never seen by anyone but you.
Rowid is a read-only viewer. When you open a file it makes a private copy inside its own app container and reads that copy, not your original. This is deliberate and it is what lets the app promise it never alters your data — the app shows you a live unchanged indicator, computed by re-checking your original file's size, modification date and content hash while it is open.
That working copy is deleted when you close the file. Nothing is copied anywhere else, and no copy leaves your device.

Rowid does not make network requests. It works in airplane mode, and it contains no networking code of its own — reading a file never contacts anything.
There is one exception, and it is not ours: if you choose to buy, restore or manage a subscription, your device talks to Apple's App Store to complete it. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or any identifier tied to you; that transaction is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Rowid is free to read your files of any size — opening them, browsing every row, searching and sorting. Rowid Pro adds the schema view, SQL queries, export and saved queries, and is offered as a one-time purchase or as a monthly or yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your device's Settings. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Rowid is a developer tool and is not directed at children. It contains no advertising, no user accounts, no user-generated content and no data collection.
Because no personal data is collected, transmitted or stored off your device, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete. Deleting the app removes everything Rowid has kept.
